The ONLY thing PROVEN to not just Stop, but REVERSE Heart Disease, our nations number one killer of Americans and number one cause of all disabilities is …. a plant based diet! One that’s not processed and without all the chemicals and fertilizers and GMOs etc. …. Organic!!
The only Supplements you should ever take should also be Organic Food CONCENTRATES that don’t list each vitamin and mineral separately but list real foods on the ingredient list like “carrot root, beet root, pea vine, alfalfa seed and leaf, …” etc.
Look at the plate above. At least 1/2 to 2/3 of the plate should be GREEN! Half of those should be raw. Always try to include a brassica or cruciferous vegetable. The rest should be other vegetables with a minimal amount of whole grains preferably things like quinoa or wild rice.
For more EVIDENCE watch this you tube video by researcher Dr Michael Greger, MD.
An optimal diet should include one servings of berries, flaxseeds, nuts, spices and cruciferous vegetables; three to four servings of greens, plus one to two more servings of healthful whole grains, beans and non-berry fruits each day.
Fiber in your foods is very important (NOT an added fiber supplement!) and some of the higher fiber ones include: avocados, green peas, lentils, raspberries, almonds, sweet potatoes, pears, bulgur, and air-popped popcorn. (Note: popcorn is a different variety than regular corn and so far not adulterated but microwave popcorn has carcinogenic compounds.)
Make sure to clear your pantry of any processed items like white flour or all-purpose flour, canola or vegetable oils, shortening or any “hydrogenated” oils, sugar and sweeteners, and high-fructose corn syrup. NEVER use corn or any corn derived product unless you are sure it is 100% organic non-GMO.
Good fats to use are coconut oil (cooking), sesame oil, olive oil (salads), and ghee as well as avocadoes.
Healthful grains include organic quinoa, millet, oats, faro, wheat berries, and wild rice.
For natural sweetening use plain Stevia primarily; others are molasses, brown rice syrup, honey (Tupelo best), date sugar, palm sugar, and maple syrup… but use them sparingly.
Proper Hydration is critical!! Drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces per day of plain reverse osmosis or distilled water! Try a touch of Stevia in your water to “freshen it up.” If you’re worried about losing minerals or electrolytes (which is very minimal), take a supplement of Organic Minerals &/or Trace Minerals from Standard Process and you’ll replace much more than was filtered out.
If you must have some meat, try to keep it to one or two pieces per day that will fit in the palm of your hand and be no thicker than your hand and eat fish three times a week, organic poultry or wild game 2-3 times a week, and grass fed beef or wild venison, bison, etc. twice a week.
If you have any disease process going on in your body you are better off to skip the meat altogether.
A relatively newer supplement that is the only supplement proven to reduce the plaque in arteries is menaquinone-7 or vitamin K2. This is Not vitamin K which is K1, phyloquinone. K2 does not have anything to do with clotting like K1 does and is safe if on blood thinners.
That’s how to bypass getting a bypass!
PS: If your condition is critical and you don’t have the time for this to work (starts in 1-2 weeks) and your going to die in the next week…. get EDTA Chelation. It has it’s side effects but it’s much safer than an operation and it fixes the deposits in your whole body and not just where they operate. Then follow the no bypass diet above.
